The 1964 Dodge A/Factory Xperimental (A/FX) came from the factory sporting a fiberglass front end, fiberglass bumpers, acid dipped glass and had the rear axle as well as the front suspention moved forward to aid to weight transfer for more traction. These "funny looking cars" where the for runners of todays Funny Cars.
"Ohio George" Montgomery's 1970 Mustang was fitted with Fords Boss 429 motor in an attempt to promote the new engine. George said the motor wasn't making the horsepower numbers till they added the twin turbos. The rest is history.
